Charitable signing fee

Every new hire at ToThePoint receives a Charitable Signing Fee of €500 to spend on a charity of their choosing. By shaping our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we try to make a difference in creating an Evolutionary responsible world for the future.

World Wildlife Fund (WWF)

Gilian Sterckx, Frontend Developer from OneDot, has chosen WWF as the recipient of his Charitable Signing Fee of €500.

WWF does more than saving animals

The reason why Gilian chooses this charity is because WWF stands for way more than merely trying to save animals. They are actually striving for improving the climate we all share by pointing out the necessity of humans living in harmony with nature. This is an important issue, because we’re all a part of this great world of ours.

By protecting certain lands from ecological disasters, Gilian believes WWF thus makes a huge difference in protecting the animals and ecosystems that inhabit those environments.

Bonus questions

What is your favourite animal?

Gilian’s favourite animal is his dog, Snuffel (a Jack-Russel Terrier).

Which animal must be protected the most?

If I have to pick one animal to save from extinction, it would be the bees. A much neglected species that is imperative for the survival of almost any ecosystem.
